About BBKF
Beth and Greg Rapp, BBKF Productions
BBKF Productions was started by Beth and Greg Rapp amid increasing demand for live sound services. Beth has provided live audio engineering for the past 4 years for the Maggie Speaks corporation (mainly the band Shout Out), Nomadic Horizons and Sucker Punch.
We provide a variety of live sound services including live sound for bands, ceremony sound, and backline. There is additionally an option for backline drums for your event either with or without live sound engineering.
We use an x32 rack mount and provide up to 4 wireless microphones, talk back microphones, drum microphones, in-ear monitors (wireless and wired), stage monitors, mic morphine stands, cables, stage lights and a Turbosound system.
Drum backline includes numerous choices for kits, hardware and cymbals. We specialize in small to mid size venues and pride ourselves on being easy to work with and professional.
About Greg Rapp
I was bit by the drum bug at age 12. Playing along to songs on the radio on couch cushions led to a life-long obsession with music. After playing in bands in high school, I attended Musicians Institute in 1993. The next big step in my career was getting a job at the Drum Pad in 1997. Over the next 13 yrs, I worked with almost every major drummer in a clinic capacity. It was the ideal place to build an encyclopedic knowledge of drums, cymbals, hardware and percussion. While working there, I was introduced to the world of wedding and cover band gigs. Over the last 23 years, i’ve realized the aspiration that I had when I started playing. Performing a variety of styles from Metal to Big Band, Prog Rock to Elvis, SteelHeart to Small group jazz. I feel this versatility has given me a unique perspective to the needs of drummers and bands in many diverse and different musical situations.
